For those of you who don't access FB, Jenni woke this morning unable to move at all and is now in hospital. I'll text her later - don't want to ring in case she is unable to get to her phone. Poor girl - she certanly does have more than her fair share of problems with this damned disease xx

Oh poor Jenni! Life is so unfair to her, she doesn't deserve this.

Please give her my love Jean.

Jenni has just phoned. She has the mother and father of all flares and is unable to move. They have pumped her full of morphine which has relieved some of the pain and she is hoping for a big shot of steroids in the morning. Despite it all, she is still laughing. What an incredible woman she is - no wonder we all love her so much. xx

I've got my grandchildren here so I just pop on the forum when I've a moment to spare and don't really have time to post. Just had to post after reading this. Jean send her my love and hope things improve for her soon.

Yes Jean she really is an amazing woman, she makes all my troubles seem small in comparison. She is so brave and copes with the aid of her sense of humour, it's like yours.I hope she gets sorted for her holiday.

Thanks ever so much Jean for letting us know about Jenni, it is so sad, as she constantly has to battle so much. Just hope they can get things under control and she is able to get away on the family holiday.

Crikey Jenni you're cutting it fine this time! Come on girl, out that bed, bags to be packed, this is no time for lounging around in a hospital bed Smile

Get well very soon Jenni, thinking about you,

Lyn xx
My son, Ian, completed the BUPA Great North Run on 15th September running for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS). You can read his story at http://www.justgiving.com/ianlukewilson

If Jenni hasn't managed to access the forum, I'll pass on your love when I speak to her later. I've just read FB and she had her jab last night and is already moving better, although she hasn't slept too well. Knowing Jenni, I'm SURE she'll be flying off on Friday, come what may. She's probably got her packed bags under the hospital bed just in case!

Hi Jean,
Just tell her I'm up her way to fly to Turkey on Friday so we could launch a rescue mission to get her out on Thursday evening. It'll be more exciting than tea with mother in law and I've always fancied starting a Cornish version of International Rescue. Get well soon Jenni
